Since 2010, Agile Portugal has established itself as an international conference for Agile Software Development and its practices, technologies, attitudes and experiences. The conference has increased its capacity and we expect to host over 300 participants this year. Agile Portugal 2016 will serve as a superb backdrop for innovation, discussion and networking with other agilists, bringing together thought leaders, practitioners, and trainers from all over the world.

Conference Topics & Tracks
Agile Portugal 2016 will focus on methods that strive to deliver business value early in the project lifetime and to adapt to changing requirements. By leveraging the use of “high-bandwidth” and informal communication, agile methods support the human side of software development while delivering running, tested systems.
Topic examples are given below but any submissions related to our tracks are welcome.
- Agile methods: Scrum, Lean, XP, etc
- Collaboration, Culture & Teams
- Business & Project Management
- Customer Relationship
- Development Practices
- Testing & Quality Assurance
- Agile Adoption & Transformation
The topics will be grouped by context similarity into tracks. These will be the Tracks that will compose our agenda and will make Agile Portugal 2016 a unique experience both for experienced practitioners as well as newbies, coaches and techies:
- The Basics
- Build, Measure and Learn
- Culture, Teams and Mindset
- Organisations and Communities
- Technical Excellence
Agile Portugal welcomes submissions on any subject that falls within the themes of the conference. In particular we encourage working practitioners to submit sessions and case studies.
Each talk will have a 20 minutes duration.
