Talk: CMMI & SCRUM: a powerful combination @ PRIMAVERA
It’s not “rocket science” and, in fact, it is very advantageous to bring together these two frameworks in order to improve the time-to-market, quality and satisfaction of the software development work. There is more in common than one can imagine. This talk aims to give some insights about the goals, challenges and outcomes obtained with CMMI & Scrum combination at PRIMAVERA BSS.
Paulo Correia is currently an Agile Coach at PRIMAVERA Business Software Solutions in Braga, Portugal. Before that, he worked in different national and multi-national software companies. He started his career as a software analyst/developer in the software application integration area. Besides programming he quickly evolved to team and project management (small and big teams as well as for national and international clients). The challenges of delivering on time (or ahead of time), meeting customer’s expectations and being efficient were always there.
After years of managing numerous waterfall projects he gained interest and truly belief on Agile methodologies. Since then, he played the role of Scrum Master (both for small and larger teams) and then Agile Coach.
People and team collaboration are always on his top-of-mind. “It’s all about people” is his motto!
